Soup…So Good

It’s Wednesday

This is what I ate

Breakfast:

Even though I was home working today, I opted to use one of my chai options to help jump-start my work day.

AM Snack:

Yummy veggies hand cut by our friend B when she was in town, plus a small serving of hummus.

Lunch:

I am still new to photographing my food regularly. I was in such a rush to get this moving toward being able to enjoy it that I didn’t take a picture of it until I’d already stirred it into unattractiveness. Go check out Jenn’s blog for a high quality photo of this amazing soup.

Anyway, I reheated some leftovers of Jenn’s Slow Cooker Sweet Potato and Cauliflower soup for lunch. It was even better leftover than it was the first day. I could seriously eat this soup everyday of the winter.

PM Snack:

I was really looking forward to a nice bowl of cereal as a snack but I discovered that unfortunately, my milk had turned. I subbed in some pretzel crisps and dip….and dry Oh’s!

Dinner:

I was doing really well with staying away from spending any money…until C text me telling me about his steak dinner while out-of-town. Suddenly, I caved and called in Teriyaki. I also had a lofty goal of plating the meal and then photographing it. Alas, I was halfway through when I remembered to snap a quick pic!

It may look unattractive but it was delicious!

I eat out on Tuesdays…well, the last 2 Tuesdays I have. I don’t know what to make of it but something interesting to keep in mind. I don’t think that I would have discovered that without tracking for WIAW.
